01
What is currently essential
A session token helps the contact service verify a request. Its cookie is used for form security rather than cross-site advertising. If you clear it or block it, reload the form before sending a message.
Hosting and security systems may also provide essential functions under the host’s configuration. Those settings should be reviewed when the site is installed.
02
Optional tracking is not loaded
There are no analytics or advertising scripts in the main-site package. The preference control does not pretend to turn on tools that have not been installed.
If optional services are added later, their purpose, storage, provider and controls should be described before activation. Adding a banner alone does not control an unrelated script.
03
Local preference storage
Choosing to save essential-only preferences stores that choice locally in the browser. It does not create a visitor account or subscribe you to messages. You can clear site data using browser settings.
If your browser does not allow local storage, the website remains readable and the preference may not persist.
04
Blog and merchant destinations
Opening a blog article or a seller’s page opens the blog section or a merchant service, each with its own configuration. Featured images from the blog can also make a request to that service.
Read the destination’s privacy information for its cookies and tracking. The privacy policy explains the main website’s contact and feed data flows.
